Our life experience consists of pleasant events and things that we do not enjoy much. Most of us remember themselves making tantrums as kids because we never wanted to clean our room or work around the house. Having grown old and matured, we experience conciliation with the fact that we have responsibilities that shall be done irrespective of how much we like them. We may hate cooking, shopping, paying bills, or making appointments with a physician but we strongly need all of them done.
Performing our daily choirs is inevitable if we do not have a couple of caregivers constantly by our side. In fact, we become caregivers at some point in life and admit the necessity to take extra responsibilities. But even if we have the entire household to take care of, we are not deprived of occasional free time and a little chance to enjoy the life. Besides our responsibilities, we need to do something we like – handmade, dancing, football, play instruments etc. – to restore the healthy balance of positive emotions and stress.
Very few of us can get rid of any responsibilities and enjoy the living in full. But interestingly, many people enjoy their life as it is – with all the challenges and annoying routine. But we shall remember that making a little change is always up to us. We are not entitled to live in a succession of unpleasant events. After all, we choose an occupation, hobby, and nice people ourselves, and a constant pressure (financial or emotional) may indicate that we need a small change in our life.
