There is absolutely no doubt that the woman is the one to decide whether to have an abortion or not. It is her body, her life and, therefore, her decision only.

The thing is that women have had no say at all regarding the subject under consideration for years. There were considered to be immoral, unethical or inhumane in case they mentioned the fact that they either had an abortion or were supporting this right of a woman.

However, it is important to highlight the fact that government or the church should never decide for someone what those people need to do in each particular situation. Apart from that, it is also necessary to take into consideration the fact that a woman may not be ready to become a mother and this includes the lack of financial stability as well.
